How to Install "Teamviewer" for Remote Desktop Sharing


This freeware can be used to connect to your partner's remote desktop, to give online assistance and transfer files without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT.
Firewalls and blocked ports, NAT routing for local IP addresses often create problems while setting up remote desktop conncetions. But 'Teamviewer' freeware is a hassle free application that will find a route to your partner even through tough firewalls. The whole process is simple and quick, that you gain control of your partner's desktop in no time.
Data traffic is fully encrypted, based on RSA private-/public key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding. The security standards are based on technology which have same standards as https/SSL. In addition to the PartnerID this software generates a session password that changes everytime the software is started ensuring no unauthorized access to a remote system is established. Additional, manual confirmation of the remote partner is required while transferring files.

"Teamviewer" - Freeware Installation Steps

Step 1: Open the ‘TeamViewer_Setup.exe’ file downloaded from the freeware site and Click on ‘Run’ as in screenshot shown above.
Step 2: Default selection is ‘Install’. Click on ‘Next’ as shown above. When you ask your friend to install Teamviewer, you may ask him to choose either ‘Run’ or ‘Install’ the application.

Step 3: Accept the terms by checking the box and click on ‘Next’ as in above screenshot.
Step 4: Default selection is ‘Normal Installation (default). Click on ‘Next’ as shown above.
Step 5: Installation in progress.
Step 6: Click on “Finish”.Direct your friend to ‘Run’ or ‘Install’ the same executable file in his computer.Open the application to get a user interface as shown below
Step 7:Ask your partner over phone or instant messenger, for the ID displayed on his ‘Wait for Session’ window and enter it in the ‘ID’ field of your create session window. With default selection ‘Remote Support’ click on ‘Connect to Partner'
Step 8: Enter the auto-generated password displayed on your partner's ‘Wait for Session’ window, in the ‘Password’ field on your screen and click 'log on'. Connection is established immediately.
Step 9: All data traffic is fully encrypted and secure. Now you can enjoy accessing your partner's desktop in a simple and easy way.
