Installation Process for Kaspersky Mobile Security 9

Please follow the instructions below to install your software.

Before Installing the Application

Check that your mobile device meets the following requirements:

• It can connect to the Internet
• It is running Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0, 6.1 or 6.5 Operating System, Symbian S60 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 or 9.4 (Nokia only) Operating System, Android: 1.6-2.3 or BlackBerry: 4.5 - 6.0

Make sure that there is no other anti-virus software installed on your mobile device that could conflict with the installation or future operation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 9.

Installing the Application

Please connect your mobile device to the computer. Then follow the installation instructions below that correspond to the Operating System on your mobile device.

Windows Mobile Installation (Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0, 6.1, or 6.5)

• If you purchased the application on CD, locate the CAB file within the Windows Mobile link on the CD.
• If you purchased the application over the Internet, download the installation file:
1. From the download link in your order email
2. If the order email link has expired, download from Kaspersky Mobile Security Product Updates
• Copy the CAB file to your mobile device using one of the following methods:
1. Using Microsoft ActiveSync application
2. Using Windows Mobile Device Center
3. Using a memory card
• Under the Applications menu on your mobile device, use File Explorer to find and launch the file.
• Review the License Agreement. If you agree to all the terms of the agreement, press OK. If you do not agree to the terms of the License Agreement, press Cancel. Installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 9 will be terminated.

• If you pressed OK, the installation process will continue and you will be asked to select a language for Kaspersky Mobile Security 9. Select English and press OK.

• After the installation is complete, you will be advised to reboot your mobile device. Press Reboot or, if you do not wish to reboot the device now, you can exit the application.

Symbian Installation (Symbian OS 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 or 9.4, Series 60 UI)

• Kaspersky recommends using the Nokia PC Suite application for transferring Kaspersky Mobile Security installer files to your Nokia mobile device.
• If you purchased the application on CD, locate the SIS file within the Symbian link on the CD, and copy it to your desktop.
• If you purchased the application over the Internet, download the installation file:
1. From the download link in your order email
2. If the order email link has expired, download from Kaspersky Mobile Security Product Updates
• Copy the SIS file to your mobile device using one of the following methods:
1. Using the Nokia PC Suite application – you will receive a prompt to complete the installation on your mobile device.
2. Using a memory card – you will need to open the SIS file on your mobile device.
• A prompt will appear on the screen of your mobile device. Select Yes to confirm the installation of the application.
• Review the application details, and press Continue.
• If the language of the Operating System does not match the language of Kaspersky Mobile Security 9, a corresponding message will then be displayed on the screen. In order to proceed with the installation in English, press OK.
• Review the License Agreement. If you agree to all the terms of the agreement, press OK. If you do not agree to the terms of the License Agreement, press Cancel. Installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security 9 will be terminated.

• If you pressed OK, the installation process will continue, and Kaspersky Mobile Security 9 will finish installing on your mobile device.
